Safety optimization of maritime ferry technical system

ABSTRACT: The method that can be used in critical infrastructure safety optimization is shown and adapted to the ferry technical system. The optimal values of the operation process, safety and resilience indicators are determined for the maritime ferry technical system. Practical suggestions on reorganizing the operation process of this member of a shipping critical infrastructure to maximize its lifetime in the safety states not worse than the critical safety state are proposed.
